Persuit of Happiness.....💫
Happiness. What is the real definition of happiness? Actually it was never in syllabus. But according to phychology it's a positive, well being joy emotion state of mind. There are very little moments of happiness.
According to me happiness is little things because I never know big reason to be happy Or neither do I have any.
In school I have found happiness when I get chance to write on board from teacher also when I was picked by teacher to read one of my favourite character of book in class , Friday was the most favourite day of all the children of the school because on that day we were getting roasted chana(फुटाणे) in school. Feast of that chana was our happiness. Also my daily basis happiness was getting that 94 or 81 number PMT bus which directly droping me to the home. These little moments was very precious to me. For little version of me that was the happiness of my life.
But after getting older why the happiness feels like Bourdain. Is the definition of happiness changed? Or maybe it have changed according to acceptance society, social media or lifestyle. It feels like you can be happy only when you can go to most famous places for trip, you can be happy when you drive most expensive car, you can be happy when you wear high brand clothes, you can be happy when you got good grades in academic, you get happy when you have high paid job in top organisation, you can be happy when you have settled in abroad, you can be happy when you have most beautiful life partner, you can be happy when you live in big house, you can be happy when you are partying every Friday night. These norms of happiness now becoming Bourdain to us. Happiness which is showing off to the other is real form of Bourdain .
Happiness should not have to be Bourdain. It should be the easy go moment.
One can found it in home in comfortable and messy clothes, it can be found in smell of your favourite dish, it can be found in blooming of flowers, in listening of birds chirping, seeing your favourite person after many days, hugging to your pet, watching your favourite movie, helping to the stranger, in the smell of old things these are also the little moments of happiness.
To be happy it's not about waiting for big event it's celebrating of Little moments we have in life. Maybe these little things will become the most valuable happiest moment we have ever enjoyed.
Happiness is within us but we are searching in someone, something to make us happy and if it's not getting from them then we feel unhappy. There are many solid reasons in Iife to stay unhappy but get distract from it and enjoy little things of life. And when you will look back that was the most happiest moments of your life.
When life don't give you the big reason to be happy learn to be happy in little moments and one day you will realise that was not the little moments but it's lesson from life to be humble down in simplicity of persuit of happiness.
